Annual Elk CLinic

Since 2006 the Arizona Elk Society has hosted this event for ALL elk hunters. If you are a new or beginning elk hunter or even a seasoned hunter that would like to learn what is new for hunting elk you need to come to this annual clinic.

Doors will open at 9am and close at 4pm.

This will be an is an all day clinic
teaching the many aspects of becoming successful at hunting elk in Arizona.

There are Speakers from all over the West, 
Arizona Elk Hunting Outfitters and many more.

Volunteer for Project

  • Early and Late season bull and cow rifle hunting tactics
  • Early and Late season bull and cow archery hunting tactics
  • Elk calling, how, when and where
  • Meat care, skinning and taxidermy preparation
  • Scoring your elk
  • Tree stand and blind setups, use of trail cameras
  • Tracking wounded game for recovery
  • Information from AZGFD Wildlife Managers (so bring your maps)
  • ATV rules and regulations from the U.S. Forest Service & AZGFD
  • All about using and buying optics
  • And more.

The entry price of the tickets includes lunch at noon.

annual_clinic05annual_clinic02In a separate room we will have a vendor area set up to showcase elk hunting products and gear that will be for sale from local vendors. Calls, DVDs, optics and hunting gear discussed in the clinic will be for sale.

Tickets are $20 adults, $10 youth 17 and under. $10 adults and $5 youth will be credited towards a new AES membership if you join at the event.
